Our water is unique because of its high silica content, close to the solubility limit of water. Silica plays a role in collagen formation and skin elasticity, among other benefits.
When you pour or shake a bottle you may see small precipitates swirl or settle. That is not impurity or a manufacturing defect. Temperature or pressure changes can cause silica to precipitate. The precipitates are natural and safe.
We do not add bicarbonate to prevent this. We want mineral water as close to its natural source as possible.
